Overview
The Syrex IS Sounder is an intrinsically safe
alarm sounder which provides an audible warning
signal in hazardous area applications.
With three alarm stages and a low current
consumption, the Syrex IS Sounder is ideal for
both fire and process control applications.
The Syrex IS Sounder needs to be used with a
suitable zener barrier whose output parameters
do not exceed Vo 28V DC, Io 93mA, Po 660mW or
from any galvanic isolator specified by the
system certificates.
The unit can be used independently or fitted
with a beacon to form a sounder/beacon
combination These units can utilise a common
zener barrier or galvanic isolator.
