MOSCOW, June 23 (Reuters) – A diesel tank at Saratov oil refinery, controlled by Russia’s top crude oil producer Rosneft , caught fire on Tuesday, a local emergencies ministry official told Reuters.
She said the ministry has registered a call about the fire at 1825 local time (1525 GMT).
Some 86 firefighters are tackling the fire at the refinery, one of the country’s biggest, she added.
The fire was extinguished using long range monitors and fire fighting foam.
The fire has not inflicted any casualties, the official said.
