SOLBERG® RE-HEALING™ Foam Product Line Expanded Company Introduces Low Viscosity and Multipurpose Foam Concentrates at Interschutz 2015

Industries around the world are changing faster than ever before. Advances in technology, new manufacturing processes, environmental issues, stricter regulations, and improved safety standards pose greater demand for smarter, more innovative approaches in fire suppression.

At SOLBERG, we continually pioneer firefighting foam technologies to meet the latest demands of the aerospace, aviation, chemical, defense, energy, fire services, marine, mining, oil and gas, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, pipeline, solvent & coatings and utilities industries.

solberg1Solberg leaps ahead of increasingly stringent environmental regulations with innovative
RE-HEALING™ Foam. Now available, low viscosity RF3 LV, 3% foam concentrate for use on hydrocarbon fuel fires and RF-MB multipurpose foam concentrate for use on both Class A fuel fires and Class B hydrocarbon fuel fires including biofuels up to E-85.

Proportioned at 0.5% for Class A fuels and 3% solution for Class B fuels, RE-HEALING RF-MB can be used in fresh, sea or brackish water.

RF-MB is Approved to EN1568 (Part 3) and meets the fire performance requirements of EN1568 (Parts 1 and 4) as witnessed by DET NORSKE VERITAS (DNV) on E-85.

solberg2REHEALING RF3 LV is a freeze protected foam concentrate Approved to EN1568 Part 3. The storage temperature range for REHEALING RF3 LV FP foam concentrate is -20 ⁰C to 49 ⁰C (-4 ⁰F to 120 ⁰F). Foam non-air aspirating discharge devices as well as air aspirating discharge devices, including standard sprinkler heads, can be used to obtain maximum results.

RE-HEALING foam concentrates are very effective firefighting foams for flame knockdown, fire control, extinguishment, and burn-back resistance. Control, extinguishing time, and burn-back resistance is paramount to the safety of firefighters everywhere. RE-HEALING foam concentrates have shown excellent performance in each of these categories.

RE-HEALING foam can also be used to prevent re-ignition of a liquid spill and control hazardous vapours. SOLBERG RE-HEALING foam concentrates are designed to replace traditional AFFF and AR-AFFF foam concentrates and older fluoroprotein foams. Concentrates available include 1%, 3%, 6%, 3×3% ATC™, 3×6% ATC and select freeze protected formulation versions.
