11 Missing After Coal Mine Flood In Northern China

BEIJING—A coal mine flooded in northern China on April 25, leaving 11 miners missing, state media reported.

The accident happened in Tongchuan city in Shaanxi province, the official Xinhua News Agency said. A total of 67 workers were in the mine shaft but the rest managed to escape, Xinhua said, citing the Tongchuan city government. Rescuers were attempting to find the missing.
