FFS Awarded Large Landbased Contract From Singapore Civil Defense

FFS has been rewarded a contract from SCDF ( Singapore Civil Defence) for delivery of a complete system for mobile fire-fighting. The system is the largest ever made so far with total capacity of 100.000 liters pr. minute.

One of the monitors has a capacity of 80.000 liters pr. min. The system includes trucks, trailers, hose system, skid mounted diesel engine driven pumps, foam system and lift pump system.

Included is also training and maintenance. It shall make the SCDF capable of fighting a worst case fire scenario at the tank farms in Singapore area. The system will also be able to use the large fireboat which will be delivered by end of 2018 as pump station back up.

FFS has delivered the fire-fighting system for this boat as well plus the systems for some smaller boats to be used by SCDF. The system on the large fireboat is the world’s biggest so far with a capacity of 240.000 liters pr. min. FFS is the leading maker of marine offship fire fighting.

They are also offering their systems and knowledge for land based applications.
