messe-logo-interschutzChina and Germany are working together to modernize China’s rescue services. To find out more, visit the German-Chinese pavilion at INTERSCHUTZ 2015.

In October 2013, the two countries formally agreed to implement a joint healthcare action plan, focusing particularly on the rescue and emergency medical services. “The cooperation project is Germany’s biggest-ever bilateral cooperation project in the field of emergency and rescue services,” explained the project’s medical director, Stefan Lührs.

The ultimate aim is to create an integrated land- and air-based service in China that is modeled on the German system. Several German companies are playing a key part in the project and have agreed to exhibit at the pavilion. Among them are Airbus Helicopters, Daimler, Strobel, Volkswagen and Ziegler.
