Russia – Fire At Rosneft’s Komsomolsk Oil Refinery Extinguished
MOSCOW: A fire at Rosneft’s Komsomolsk oil refinery in Russia’s Far East has been extinguished, the refinery’s press service said in an emailed statement on Wednesday.
The fire broke out at a pumping unit and nobody was injured, it said.
It has been reported that the increasing number of fires and incidents at the state refineries across Russia have led to a sustained programme of safety improvement, with infrastructure, fire fighting equipment and training receiving a substantial boost.
