Germany: 2 killed in explosion aboard tanker
BERLIN (AP) — Police say two people have been killed in an explosion aboard a tanker at a shipyard in western Germany.
Police in the city of Duisburg, which is a hub for shipping on the Rhine river, said the explosion happened Thursday morning. Authorities found two bodies and were searching for any further victims.
There was no immediate word on the cause of the explosion. Police said the resulting fire has been extinguished.
