Five Dead In Oil Refinery Blast In China
Five people have died in an explosion at an oil refinery in Anhui province in eastern China, according to local authorities.
Three people were injured in the blast, Xinhua news agency reported on Monday.
The victims were trapped inside the building after the blast and subsequent fire on Sunday.
Firefighters managed to rescue three people alive, two of whom are still in hospital with minor injuries and the third has been discharged.
The explosion took place around 5.20pm in one of the warehouses of the refinery, owned by the Wanhua oil company, but the causes of the accident are still unknown.
